Cheshire Weddings – Abi +Stephen
With grey clouds grumbling all week leading up to this gorgeous wedding I was a little nervous about the weather. It’s a hot topic at the moment amongst wedding photographers! Gladly Abi and Stephen were blessed with an almost rain free day apart from the speeches which didn’t matter as everybody was celebrating in the beautifully decorated marquee.
Stephen’s parents hosted the country reception with the most impressive house and gardens. I almost offered my National Trust pass when I arrived! Manicured lawns and happy, bouncing heads of tulips made for a beautiful setting admired buy all the guests.
I would like to mention and say thanks to Rev. David Walton of St Michael’s Church in Baddiley, Wrenbury who patiently helped me find a good position to photograph the service so I could capture the special moments between Abi and Steve whilst being very respectful of the service. Sometimes it can be very disappointing when I’m not allowed to work from the front of the church so I was very pleased that David and his team of church wardens were most considerate in accommodating my requests. Thank you.
It was also so lovely to see Caroline and Rick – one of my lovely wedding couples who are now awaiting the arrival of their baby!
Abi looked simply beautiful in her lace dress – elegant, demure and timeless. Although both a little nervous the smiles soon shone through and there was lots of laughter during the speeches. Everybody looked as if they were having a great time!
